Interview w/Ravi Sandill for Texas Supreme Court Justice

This November, you will have the opportunity to vote on who sits on the Texas Supreme Court. While the SCTOUS justices are appointed by the President, the Texas people get to have a say as to who is on the Texas Supreme Court. Texas Supreme Court Justices only decide issues of civil matters. They do not deal with any criminal matter issues. They are elected in staggered terms and each term is for six years.

Ravi Sandill is on the ballot for the Democrats for a position on the Texas Supreme Court Place 4 and is running against the incumbent John Devine.

Ravi is a resident of Harris County. He attended UT Austin for undergrad, went to U of H for law school, and is the first ever district court judge to be of South Asian descent in Texas. You can learn more about his campaign here.

Finally, early voting begins October 22nd! Make sure to check out our Voter Info page to WiseUp on the candidates on your ballot, polling locations, and much more! #WiseUpandVote!
